Settings – Payments

Stripe integration for receiving renewal payments. Obtain keys from the Stripe Dashboard. When configured, contacts can pay renewal fees via the link in reminder emails.

Stripe

Stripe: Publishable key and Secret key

  • Publishable key – Used in the browser (pk_live_... or pk_test_...)
  • Secret key – Stored encrypted, used server-side. Leave blank to keep the current value. sk_live_... or sk_test_...

Currency

Currency: Settlement currency, Spread

  • Settlement currency – The currency in which payments are received and settled. Exchange rates use Frankfurter (ECB reference rates).
  • Spread (%) – Optional margin applied when converting from other currencies to settlement currency.

Fees

Combine professional and official fees toggle

  • Combine professional and official fees into one cost – When enabled, the payment page and invoice show a single total instead of separating professional and official fees. Some attorneys prefer to hide their fees relative to official fees.
