Contacts can be companies or individuals. They are linked to matters as clients (owners) or applicants.

Adding contacts

Create contacts from the main contacts list or when adding/editing a matter.

Roles

• Client (owner) – Usually the entity instructing you
• Applicant – The IP holder on the application

A contact can have different roles on different matters.
