Summary Emails

Receive periodic email digests summarising your portfolio status — overdue renewals, upcoming deadlines, pending reminders, and unprocessed instructions.

Enabling Summary Emails

Configure summary emails in Settings → Summaries:

Enable the toggle

Turn summary emails on or off.

Choose frequency

  • Weekly — sent every Monday at 8am (in your organisation's timezone).
  • Monthly — sent on the 1st of each month at 8am.

Set the recipient

Enter the email address where summaries should be delivered. This is typically a team lead or office manager.

What the Summary Contains

Each summary email includes four sections in table format:

  • Overdue — matters past their renewal date, showing the due date and matter name.
  • Imminent — matters due within your imminent horizon window, with due date and matter name.
  • Pending reminders — matters with reminders due to send, showing the renewal date and matter name.
  • Pending instructions — client instructions awaiting processing, showing when received and the matter name.

Each section shows a count badge and lists up to 25 items. If a section has no items, a "nothing to report" message appears instead.

Send Now

Click Send now on the Summaries settings page to dispatch a summary immediately, regardless of the schedule. This is useful for testing or when you need an ad-hoc status report.
